It only took Gabbiadini 12 minutes to get his first goal for Southampton. Perhaps we should have got him and not Zaza.
By the way Reid was the one that played Gabbiadini onside today. Very close thing though.

Doing well at Valencia, misses a sitter now 4-0 down at home to Eibar who average about 4,000 at home. Ground is empty ultras staged a walkout.

I watched him play v ROI in the Euros and thought a prancing eurotrash ladyboy with sculpted facial hair would not suit the Premier league ... but no one asked ME!

If he felt he needed more did he not discuss this with the training staff or do extra work he felt he needed?
And did not our endless staff communicate with him to see how he was going and why he wasn't performing?

There may well be faults in the training regime but you could wire that cunts bollox to the national grid and still not get a spark in front of goal

He lacks the basic greed and self belief to be a top grade striker, he can undoubtedly kick a ball but he is underlying a gutless individual and for that reason will fail despite odd moments where his natural ability manages to supersede his innate sporting cowardice.

This does say something about the club - but not the obvious. More work needs to be done in identifying players who can add something to a team like West Ham and move us forward. Zaza obviously lacks motivation and the ability to adapt. It's just not a case of getting 'top' players in on loan or a large fee. They have to be a good fit for the side. If you look at some (a lot?) of the purchases over the years, there are too many who haven't worked out.

Its a cheap strategy, if any of the players that we get on loan were shit hot, we would buy them straight up. There is a certain level of shitness u should naturally expect from a sully loan deal and it is VERY CHEAPO

As much as I love Dicksie, when he freely admits he hated training, particularly fitness training, you have to wonder if he's the best man for the job of trainer.

As for Zaza, I still think more than anything he was traumatised after the conversion he took in the Euros in France. A serious and intense lack of confidence, and perhaps he wasn't very fit either.

Players are free to train more, if they want, so he obviously wasn't too concerned about his fitness while he was with us; that or he's a backwards child that needs to be pointed in the right direction when walking through doors or pissing in a urinal.
